Different Kind of hood....

I know the usaual CF hood manufacturers, but does anyone know where i can get a hood with a scoop? i Really like the one on the new STi's and i was hoping to get one like that. I got a turbo and stuff, so it would actually help out. I know i can go buy a scoop and get it molded in, but i dont want to take that approach.

Thanks in advance!

Having a hood "like an STi" wouldn't be as beneficial because you don't have a top mount. Unless you want cold air going into your intake manifold, hehe...that wouldn't be right.

Why not the evo style hoods that are vented to get that hot air out of the engine bay. Seibon or VIS make em.

there you go...getting molded is the only way. DO IT..and you can get some unique points while you're at it. Some guy put a roof scoop on his car and it looked bad ***.

Hint - my RS doesn't have a top-mount intercooler, but I have a hood scoop stock.

Dumb suggestion - get an STI hood scoop, cut a whole in your hood, and bolt the sucker on. Paint as needed.

Hmm.....be cool if some manufacturer (cough RRM) offered a hood with a scoop. Unfortunately vents are not really a suitable option for guys that encounter snow but a scoop would be perfectly fine and would still cool the engine bay.
