But that's a BMW trunk. I don't get it.

It's important to have rooled edges. Not to take away from StreetConcept, but I found that amusing.

You Get What You Pay For

I Bought The Same Trunk And I Got What I Paid For. Hours And Hours Of Fitting Cutting, The More Fitting And It Still Didnt Fit Well. Its A Half Inch Short On The Base Of The Trunk Where The Bumprer Meets The Car If You Look Closely At The Pics Of The Red Evo On That Sit Youll See What Im Talking About. I Tried To Send It Back As I Ended Up Giving Up And Went Back To The Stock Deck After All That But In The Meantime I Cut The Springs Because It Was Worping The Carbon Trunk So Now You Have To Use The Key To Open The Trunk As Its Too Heavy To Pop Anymore

Ugh. Post all in caps and you get ever word capitalized. A headache in teh making. You're supposed to remove at least one of the tensioners when you swap to a lighter trunk, otherwise it will fly open. I guess that could cause the "worping" you were talking about. Other than that, if you had fitment issues why didn't you bring them to StreetConcept's attention instead of modifying your trunk?

Im looking for trunk lid and wing as well. I found the evo VIII wing for $400 at cerious performance which is good. havnt found a trunk lid less then $600 that I trust. I did find one at grounddynamics.com that looks good for $465. if anyone has a good site for one or where you got your and price that would be great.....for the both of us.

I have a VIS cf trunk. I paid $475 shipped (but that was my hooked up price). I too had fitment issues. Carbon in general almost never fits perfectly. I have experience with carbon parts from just about every major and minor company and they ALL have some fitment issues, unless you happen to get lucky and get the one in a hundred that bolts up perfectly. My trunk doesn't sit perfectly, but it still looks fine. I had to do some modifications to the mounting points to get it to even latch shut. I still love the trunk and definitely feel that the way it looks was well worth the extra fabrication.
