I have seen so much talk about bodykits for the US lancers and hell do they look gorgeous. I resides in Singapore and drives a Lancer 1.5 GDI, not sure is it the same dimensions as the US version.

The problem is that there's only 1 shop that I know of in SG that can do bodykit for my model and that's Creative Sports. However, there's only one type of kit and its way too expensive.

I was thinking of getting my hands on a complete kit from US that guarantee to fit my model. Preferably comes with detail installation instructions so that I can DIY the whole kit myself with the help of a mechanic friend.

Any gurus of bodykits can help me out pls.

I bought a kaminari kit. I was able to install it myself AND this was my first bodykit i ever put on lol looks nice and clean. I didn't have to shave anything to make it fit..

 

I saw the Kaminari kit too and its gorgeous. The only problem is no one can tell me whether it will fit my Lancer GDI 1.5 in Singapore. I don't wish to break my piggy bank and part with my hard earned money on a kit that doesn't fit.

Anymore advice....

yeah what yr. is your lancer? if it is a new model 01 on it should fit. Shoot if you are in Singapore i'd get a Ken Style body kit from Japan or get one of the body kits from accolade in Sri Lanka. Kaminari kits are made in the U.S. and it would prolly be cheaper to buy one in Asia.

 

I will post pictures of my lancer this 1-2 days so you guys can have a beeter look at what it is.

OZevoVII, do you have the contacts of the srilanka and japan vendors that you are recommending?

Tks a lot guys, this forum is the only source of information that I can get my mind on. Not much of a lancer craze in singapore. Although there's a lot of lancer on the road but all of them look so ordinary.

Maybe I should start a car mod shop or business in singapore, huh? Any investors?

 

Checkout Accolade. They have some pretty kits and they are Cheap. Quality is VeryGOOD> I know cos i bought one.

i'm reluctant to buy soemthing from them for the fact that i have to wire my damn money, VERY INSECURE.

Hey Mitlancer your car looks essentially the same as 2002-2003 U.S. Lancer. You should be in good shape as far as U.S. body-kits go.

 

That's what I thought so too but its better to play safe.
