LOL, ok cityknight you KNOW im not one to e-thug. We've exchanged ideas peacefully on these boards before, i have no issue with anyone here. But buddy how is it that almost everytime you post a thread SOMEONE ends up fighting with you I think you must just be Forum cursed The muffler you purchased is a very nice looking performance peice and im sure it was researched and developed very well but maybe just ignoring the people who disagree with you might be a better idea so all the warring stops. If you like it does anything else really matter ? Whos name is on the title of your car And amby man just let him be, its all good.

-Mods maybe we lock this one out now yeah ?

looks nice... but i have to agree with amby... you are not gonna get any noticable gains from just a muffler

He just reminds of all the 16 year old punk kids out there that have such low self esteem they feel the need to forge their identity based upon material goods.

Until he will make a bigger contribution to this forum (dyno) he shall remain a 16 year old kid.

Ok, city, I like the way it looks. But IMO I think $330 was a little much. Like amby said earlier you probably had an exhaust leak before and accidentally fixed it while instally the HKS.

On another note, and this is about what walkingchaos said, I think a reason you always end up getting crap from people is because you don't take people's constructive criticism as positively as other members of the board do. Some people just take it as another person's opinion but you take it as someone kicking you in the ***** and saying you aren't a man. Just deal with it. And I don't think you should be calling other people ricers, since one thing I've seen in alot of "Ricer" cars is brand name fabric interior, like your LV.

wow 330 thats cheap...isnt the greddy evo II full cat back exhaust going for more then that....but i agree going from one exhaust to another with it being the same size is not going to make a difference....now if u were turbo and u went from a small exhaust to a bigger one might help as long as ur not going to big on it

He only bought a muffler, not a catback exhaust. I got my full greddy catback for 300$ CAD, around 240$ USD.

Forge my identity on Material Goods... wow thats great.
You dont even know me, I have PLENTY of identity, and lots of self esteem,
and take off your "Greddy" before you make such a claim about material things.

If I had a leak which made a significant loss in power, I think I'da felt it when feeling for leaks, and I woulda heard it when driving.
How the hell do you pressume that when I put on a muffler, ALLLLL OF THE SUDDEN... an old leak gets fixed?

Oh Amby... In a crowded room youde be looked at like such a retard for thinking that. Youde prolly be asked to just go home quietly.
I'll simply let it go tho, since you just dont know "Me".
Hows that for immature and 16...?
(This might be the part where your begin saying Im egotistical...)

This is a ****

? Oh no I bought a greddy exhaust system, I must have self esteem issues! I guess I should over compensate and just buy crap from now on. I'm sorry but time and time again you have displayed responses that indicate low self esteem, whether it be blowing a hissy fit when people don't believe your claims, to taking criticism about your car personally. Could I be wrong? Of course, for all I know you could be a completely different person, I simply make my assumptions/inferences based upon the information you give me.

Oh and I presume that an old leak got fixed based upon this, it is the only plausible explanation for why you showed a power gain. Based upon your exhaust set up (titanium piping that I believe is not welded together but is simply clamped together) the chance of leak is somewhat high . Combine this information with your statements regarding the HKS muffler (to the effect of it being wide open) and basic engine theory and my previous statement gains a litle more validity. By opening up the exhaust more, you should have seen less power at the lower RPMs (especially since you're NA) and more at the top end. However, you claimed the exact opposite, which caused me to further suspect the exhaust leak idea since if you had a leak (even small) and fixed it, you would gain back your low end. You see how useful science and logic are in the real world, I'm just so glad I took 3 years of school for this.
