I just removed the OZrally Sticker that's on the left bottom of the Trunk. That was really simple.
I used some compound and just did little circles over and over the glue and it eventually came right off. Sprayed some Windex and voila, all gone.

I might take off the Actual LANCER letter off the car, but wouldn't that affect the trade in pricing when i decide to give it up for an EVO?

I removed the ES and Lancer badges today, and I have some ghost letters that have remained. It's not glue, because when I run my hands over the spots the letters once were, I can feel that there are indentations. And around the indentations on a few of the letters is these white outlines. I scrubbed, goo-gone'd, washed, etc. multiple times so I ruled out some sort of washable residue. I really don't want to have to wet sand it, because knowing my luck I'll destroy the back of the car. I'm going to try some rubbing compound and Meguiar's Mirror Finish, but if those don't work, time to get some sandpaper.

Any suggestions / anyone experience the same problem?

I just applied some rubbing compound and waxed. Results have not changed. With the amount of money I'm investing in car care products, I should just bring it to a shop and have them get the marks off. I am just doing more damage by doing this myself. ******* sucks.

anyone know where to buy these, or how big is too big, i looked on ebay and found a couple different sizes, a 2, 3, or 4 inch. I think the 3 inch would be a nice size, but i dont know what it would look like? or can i pick one up at the dealership for not too much, cause the ones on ebay right now are coming from australia or some place like that and the shipping is high.

 

+1, i would like to see pics of the 3'' and 4" emblems on peoples cars...
