Question undecided helppppp

alright..... i bought the apex kit from acolade and its sitting in my basement....... im just waiting to get my new car to install it on....... i was thinking that i should sell the hood and spoiler... and opt for a carbon fiber hood and spoiler.. sound like a good idea?....... and if you know of any vendors that have carbon fiber hoods... preferable OEM style with no vents........ i would greatly apreciate it.... only one i know of is DG motorsports......... so tell me what you think thanx people

Sounds like a good idea to me also. As useful as the vented hoods available right now are, they're prolly more trouble than they're worth since water will just drip straight through. I'd take the same route as you and get a CF hood as well. In fact, I'd offer to buy your hood off you, if only it had proper venting.

I thought everyones been saying that those hood vents won't cause problems because our cars dont have distrib caps n stuff that would be really bad to get wet, if you look at your engine, theres not much right there cept airbox (if you dont have an intake mod), but other than that, there's nothing too major in that area that water would hurt..., cept an air filter on a modded car...

you're on the right track, i'd do the same if i had the kit and the money! With the spoiler though i'd def. get fiberglass sides color match, and CF insert. You can get one of those wings from calvin. I also have a link to another website that sells the OEM style hood for cheap, but i dont think the quality is the same as DG. Good idea, def. go for it!!
