Hey, if you think the 18's are the bomb stick with them... Forget what they all say! I love my 17's, road course or cruising; they get the job done well.

If you want a sponsorship, you actually need to do more than go around some cones in 3rd-10th place. Sponsors want to be aligned with winners, whether thats winners in show who already have trophies to show for it or winners in autocross, who again have trophies to show for it. Expect to pay a lot more money to get a sponsor.

he had a thread before when he first showed his car and explained the paint.. search for it if your curious. Id rather run with 17's then 15's, 16's because of the tire. roll. it may slow you down a bit but I seem to have more control over the car when its not riding on sidewall. But thats just me.
Need some suspension mods for sure.. Id check the rules and try to get mods that keep you in the stock class. once you get great in stock class and winning buy more mods and move up..

wheels are to big for autox etc. body kit is not good either. you need to decide what you want. show or go? or a middleground. like a lip kit.

Why is a body kit no good? It dosent hurt anything. I agree with ambystom01 about rim size, but who wants to roll around on 15's all the time? Not me. If my car was strictly race then I would but its way easier to make a lancer look good than it is to make go fast. My car is way faster around the corners with the heavy as* 18's than with the oz's. Acceleration is a different story. Tire roll on 15s is horrible. Dont believe me? Just roll doun your window and stand outside your car and grab the door and shake back and fourth to rock your car. With my suspension setup i almost cant shake mine. Oh yeah dude, sway bars and springs!

Leave the guy alone. He likes the way his car looks and if he wants to race it on 18's then I let him do it. Its his car. Having 18's has its advantages but the the advantages of having 15's or 16's are far better. He just posted some pics of his car while racing. I am sure that he knows the wheels are slowing him down (how could you not). I agree with mitsuozboi on the tire roll subject. The taller the tire the easier it is to wobble around on. My handiling sucked when dropped on the oz's and toyo tires. I slid everywhere, and I could feel lots of tire wobble.

lol, when the warranty runs out on mine, I'm gonna build it to the spec's that I like, if a sponsor comes along and see's how the car goes, and likes it, then so be it, but I'd like to see more circuit courses here in central florida. Drag is to pointlessly popular, 'yes lets just spend a couple thousand to drive a straight line and do it in 10 seconds' I would say, your looking good as it is, but def, the full suspension, along with adjust's.
