18s are too big for our car for autocross. the tires are too small. get an upgraded sway bar and strut bars. i dunno what you have but coilovers own!

I don't mean this to sound offensive in any way but how is the regular lancer the right choice for autox? All of the people that I know have a daily driver and then a autox car or have a daily driven track car(s2k, miata, wrx, r32, is300,). I am just not understand why you would want to use a lancer as a autox car, so if you could explain then I would appreciate it.

The lancer can be fairly competitive in the right classes of autocross. While its not the fastest car out there it can be made to handle quite nicely.

Drag is to pointlessly popular, 'yes lets just spend a couple thousand to drive a straight line and do it in 10 seconds' I would say, your looking good as it is, but def, the full suspension, along with adjust's.

Have you driven a 10 second car? have you driven a 10 second car that could outrun almost anything on a auto x course or road course? Til you drive a well balanced 10 second car that could go drag or road racing, I would be careful on that comment.
