I still want the carbon 02 Evo hood ( the one that comes with the grill)

As stated in my sig. From now on my $ is going to the AE86. So far 10 to 1 comprestion piston, High comp. rods ,headers. Port & polish head. And some other mod that I can't tranlate from spanish to english. I think it's bore down the head or something like that. plus more. In other word just need the Cams & cam shaft, Intake for webbers & the webbers. & last the Spray bottle

why black?

if its carbon fiber, then i suggest getting black headlights or diy, cause it looks a lil weird to me.

 

Left it black. Due to in the Holiday all the $ I get will go to the Seibon Evo Carbon Fiber hood & I'll put this grill on it.

 

Body shop was asking for $100 to paint it to the Factory color. Thats 100 dollars that can go to the CF hood.

 

but i thought your money was going to the "AE86" ...

Anywho, I like the grill, but as the other's said it doesn't match your car well at the moment. Where'd you get it?


edit: painting it yourself would only cost a few bucks if the mesh is easily removed

 

i would get the carbon eyelids and put some chrome mesh behind the grill

yeah. i wanna see a pic of the ae86. haha. Will look good with hood but without other CF mods the hood kinda looks outa place. imo. I got cf lids/cf grill/cf hood and it kinda looked wierd to me on my car so i got matching colored wheels, cf wing/cf trunk/cf reflectors/blacked out headlights to pull it all together........Id color match grill and skip the hood.

get a carbon hood for the ae86.

You make sence there my man. I'll check to see where I can get A28 Colorado Sand paint. Then do it myself with 2 to 3 clear coats. We get a lot of young buck offering us $ for the Twin Cam. Saying that the car is made for Drifting not Drag racing. oh I have a $30 a week account that goes to the Corolla & my bro to. It's easy to start a Project when u have someone else involve $ wise. And he knows his s*#t, so he does most of the work.
