how can i make somthing that will project a word like lancer or somthing in the trunk floor
like a light shinning down that says mitsubishi
any ideas would help

Directional light isn't easy. You could easily put a false floor with a plexi panel and custom cut carpeting though.

 

that would look tight... you could also use plexi glass and etch LANCER into it with a dremel

 

You could lay down a dark mat with custom glued, sewn, or painted WHITE lettering / symbols whatever. Then use black lights to highlight your design at night. I did this by installing black lights under the two front seats. I have a few pics of this and what it looks like on the OZ floor mats on my vehicle page.

 

That's some dope ish there, Brian. Should work nicely in the trunk also, just a matter of mounting the lights. I'm thinking below the speakers or around there, to keep it hidden.

 

werd theory, thats dope, i might have to try that. right now i have a red 10" neon mounted under the passenger dash, but its hard to place it because theres no flat panel under there...might have to try under the seat

 

i know there is a black light...but is there a Red Light/black light thingy....stuff...something

 

When I picked up my black lights they also had the following:

10" neon blue
10" neon red
10" black light (what I am using)

15" neon blue
15" neon red
15" black light

 

There is a company that does custom COLOR fiber optic work that is sewn into carpets.

It looks very trick, you can also have a module that scrolls the color through the fibers to give a cool effect.

I wanted to do something like that, very trick and rare, so be happy.

trying not to spend a ton of money on this maybe i go with carboard and a flash light lol
i thought i could make somthing and mount a blue neon behind it and project the light onto the trunk floor
im going to mees a around a bit with diff ideas

 

try etching some plexiglass like a false floor of ur trunk n light it from the sides. the light should only show at the etching and i think that would look seriously hot.

 

Or kidnap Vida and stuff her in your trunk. WOuld look much better......
