Yes, it's standard but I already purchased the Evo trunk (boot) lid from HK ....
For my ride thou i prefer the one i got, they look sweet when the badges are shaved for sure, which i will attempt in the next week or so
Please forgive my scrutiny, I just happened to have glanced and realized this.
I dont mean to be an @ss but... That By-Pass-Valve set-up, being behind the Sensor, doesnt work.
Its a second orifice from which the Engine can inhale, if ever the CAI under the car ends up submerged in water.
If its behind the Sensor, then in such a case, it would be cancelling the Sensor out.
No Sensor, No running Car
If its a Short-Ram Intake as it appears cuzza the ARC Filter Shroud, then that renders the By-Pass Valve utterly useless by defeating its purpose.
Its probably robbing power most-likely, cus its sucking all the Air from around the Engine bay though the By-Pass Valve, and only a small amount of the colder & cleaner Air coming from the Filter point.

I would also suggest, that the spout for the Blue Valve on the Intake, be turned around, so its on the left and aiming outwards Horizontily.
That way, theres actual Airflow through the Blue Valve to the Oil & Cams.
Since you have it in an upwards position, there is no Air-Flow but instead Suction.
When your Throttle Body opens and sucks in Air, its going to pull small amounts of Oil through that Valve. For arguments sake, even If there was any kind of small Air-Flow, the Air would have to work harder, and be "pushed" up and around through the Valve, reducing intake, and reducing cooler Air to the Engine.
However I really like the car tho

Cheers Knight, some valuable information there bud. Gotta remember that there so the excess oil can spill out, i suppose if say i aquired a catch can, then that problem would cease but then u would have to be more careful driving in the wet, or try to avoid driving into a river

if you dont have tension bars, im assuming you cannot have flip flop hinges on the boot unless you put a support pole under the lid like under the hood
that is probably the hottest mod, from the first time I saw it on 'pimp my ride' i was like, dude I wonder what it looks good on to do it, and i would have to say, that is the best car to do it to, plus if you want to show up all the other grocery getters out there, you just open the trunk to put your groceries in, then close it and drive off, everyone will be insanely jelous of your mod lol

I think he meant more specificaly, like what did you make it from?
In other words, could he buy some angle-iron at Home Depot (Famous Hardware Store in the States) and make it himself, how you did?
Or was it a steel hinge to begin with?
Reverting to the prior posts, mine stops with a bushing also.
Both of you (Bustarake and bbvc) have very nice cars, like them more than my lancer. As for your comments cityknight, it looks like that bypass valve looking section might be CF and as for the suction comment, since when did the position of the hose change suction properties? If that's what I think it is there should be suction, you sure as hell don't want air just entering the engine freely.
