My most recent pics, need more ideas on what next.

Here are the two most recent ones

And yes i realize the paint on the grille is bad, the idiots who painted it are so unreliable that im not even going to take it back. I will fix it myself sooner or later. What do you think? And what inexpensive things do you think should be next? (Im going to college, so a bit tough to buy any huge upgrades). Also, more pics in my sig at my car domain page if you are interested.

car looks nice... but pretty much stock.. im not a big fan of that grill... or any grill at all exept for the stock (painted black)... its hard to give you some tips on what to do next because i cant see if you have any wheels or drop... thats always a good start.
Blacked out headlights are a cheap mod, that will make your car look better, specially with your tented windows, they match real well
the RRM front lip is also a nice add on, so far the ones ive seen look awesome... not so cheap tho...
Thats all i have to add..

I personally like the Lancer and the Mitusibishi symbol, looks great in my opinion, looks terrible on the 2004+ though. I dont like the OZ Rally badge though, i might try to take that off.

getting rid of my OZ badge was a huge pain because the adhesive ended up half on the trunk and half on the badge... and it took forever to get it off, a straight razor wasn't even really doing the trick. if the clearcoat sucks on the grille you can do it yourself with this stuff. i used it on my ralliart grille when i painted it, and i'd use it again and again. it gives an amazing finish for an aerosol.

personally, i'd throw a little silver diamond star in the middle of the grille so that it doesn't look so empty in the front. i'd also consider a lip like the other guys have suggested.

if you want to make your own shorty antenna and don't care whether the radio gets decent reception, you can make your own with a hacksaw, a wire nut, and a can of black spraypaint. the really smooth wire nuts weren't as easy to find--but they are out there and the antenna doesn't look too bad when you're done.

you could always get yourself an evo wing, too. some people might knock us lancer guys getting evo wings... but it's OUR car, you know? i've got a VII wing coming on tuesday.

Yeah the OZ badge looked a little difficult to get off, it looks like its really stuck on the car really well.

But currently from all the suggestions, i am definately going to get a Mitsubishi emblem in the center of the grille, but before that im just going to paint over the yellow behind the mesh that the morons were too lazy to do. The clear coat is okay, they did that okay but they just did a horrible job at staying in between the lines and painting the ENTIRE thing.

I definately want to tint the tail lights, but im still a bit nervous to do so. That will more than likely be my next major upgrade, but i just suck with hands on things like that and i will more than likely **** it up. And tinting the headlights, i read the DIY instructions, and there is no way ill be able to do that myself, i might as well just hold off and buy already blacked out headlights from RRM (for example).

Thanks so far though, as for the lips, im gonna research that a little bit.

Again for debadging, i will really consider it, but the badges on the Lancer are one of the only ones that i actually like on any car. The OZ badge is a bit nasty though. My windows are already tinted. As for wheels and a drop, thats far far off into the future, im starting college really soon so i wont be able to cough up that much money for a long time. Blacking out the headlights, once i gain the courage to do it myself, i will end up doing it. As for the Evo wing, nah, i have nothing against them, but i think that the wing should stay on the Evo unless it entirely matches the car its being put on, which in my case, it wont match at all.

^ I agree on the wing not matching just right the way it is now. I like the lancers lines so to make a "fashion" statement I just did carbon fiber parts. That way I kept the lines of the lancer in tact. although I went with a cf evo wing. But only because I have bigger wheels.

I would say wheels next for sure. car looks good. The front is real clean w/o the license plate holder holes.

What are the wheels you are running on

By the way the paintjob on the grill does not show badly. may be close up i guess.

Theres an old side pic. Same stock wheels and all that, but i cant afford to put new ones on. As for the grille, yeah in the pic it looks okay, but up close it looks tacky. I'll fix it soon.
