i had one on my eclipse, dont remember the install very well, but basically this is how mine was....all the bulbs are connected to eachother, one wire from the bulbs goes into the transformer which is mounted and grounded somewhere under the hood. a wire runs from the transformer to a switch inside the car. thats the basics...i dont remember exact. one big thing is though, when you put the bulbs under the car, use A LOT of heavy duty zip ties in addition to the mounting hardware they give you cuz theyre stuff is always cheap and can come off if you hit a hard bump or something. zip ties are invincible
If i were you I would send two seperate power lines and using the gond in the swich making aparallel circuit that would put the optimum power two each bulb and seeing your from canada you have to wory about snowand every ting else winter brings so i would put a mail and female plug on each lite so they can be easly removed and added to your car I just used my head light as a switch.
