I'm glad to read you had been looking at something much smaller than an EVO wing, or the earlier links posted;
BUT
Just save up your money and buy something more useful than a CF spoiler. Put the money in the bank; spend that 350 on something that is more funtional than a spoiler if your not going to up the power in your car.

Before you actually buy the spoiler I insist that you find a local junk yard and look at some wreaked vehicles for a spoiler there. Your sure to find a lot OEM spoilers from different cars and maybe some aftermarket wings and spoilers that the previous owners have left behind.

What's the point in making the car look better? How often do you sit and just look at your car? Are you so self conscious that you feel the need to impress total strangers by how your car looks? All of these are simply devil's advocate questions, the point is simply to show that it goes both ways. If you go all go, you'll have a fast car, but obviously you won't be able to completely use all the mods within the confines of normal street use. On the other hand, if you go all show (especially when it involves giant rice wings and motorized crap) people will laugh their asses off when they spank you in their moms ford focus or stock honda civic. it all depends on which would make you happier, having a car that's fun to drive or a car that gets attention. Personally I'm more of an introvert so I prefer a car thats fast but reasonably subtle. Hell you could always take the money and invest it, yielding more money in the future, or spend it on stuff like beer, hookers, or blow.

Its all show, not gaudy. just becaus i want a spoiler doesnt mean i want the giant vinyls and exhaust the size of a Folgers can. I dont want a body kit, a lip looks nice but i dont want people to notice it because its flashy, i want to appreciate the subtle details. Ive been taking things appart and making them my own my entire life. It started with my NES(black with Nintendo Illuminated blue on the top), my PC(to much to list), my PS2 (windows, lights, etc) and when i got a car, it extended to that. I like to make things my own, and there are plenty of unique parts to do that with the lancer. I just enjoy making something unique, with my own touch.

Well if you want to make it your own and unique, why ask for peoples opinions? That kinda defeats the purpose.

And what ambystom01 said, "It will be rice." Please don't try to be "different" by concentrating on cosmetics.

I say it would be best to go with an OZ spoiler if you want one that bad; much more tasteful.
NOT AGAIN! Geez!!! Well some people go for cosmetic over the pissing contest or performance. Too many people go for performance when other just want their car to look the way that they want it too! Personally, I don't need to have my car go faster, I just want it to look the way that I want it to look! When gas goes back down it will make more sense to do so, but I don't need a faster car to carry around my little girl. Oh yeah maybe that is why my wife and I just bought a van! LOL. Here is another kick to that dead horse! Don't listen to anyone on here about YOUR car. DO what you want!

What's the point?! What's the point of buying new clothes instead of going to the Salvation Army? Its cheaper to go to the Salvation Army/Goodwill. Let me think...because people like nice to things. Who cares if you got on Hurley or whatever else? I know why...because it makes you feel good. I don't know about you but when I buy things it makes me feel good. Do you not enjoy wearing a new pair of shoes or clothes? Why get a haircut? Who cares what others see?! I know why...because it makes you feel good. And how is he going to get spanked on the street by a Focus or a mini van? He doesn't track/Drag/AutoX/Street race so that leaves a 0% percent chance of him getting spanked unless he is actualy looking for trouble.

And on a side note; I look and admire my car whenever I see it. Matter of fact I just stepped outside to look at it. Its sad, but I would probly cry if I wrecked my Lancer. Yeah, its a "POS" but its mine. My car, my payment, my name. I love my Lancer and I want it to look its best. I have high standards for myself so why would I ride in a car that doesn't reflect me? Yeah, I may not have an Evo but my car is still an extension of me. Just like him modding a Nintendo, a computer and now he is on his car. Its an extention of him. Did he need neon or whatever on his Nintendo? Nope...but it looks cool huh? Yes. There is like 1 Evo where I live and about 7-8 Lancers. I want my Lancer to look different from all the other "dogs" here where I live. I think he might feel the same way.

Ok, I'm going to go back into lurk mode now.

I voted Ralliart btw...

But LanceVance is asking for opinions on spoilers/wings on a Lancer. We are giving him what he asked for.
When asking people's opinions on your ideas/suggestions you have to expect there are people at one end of the spectrum saying "That's a great idea!"/"That's awesome!"/"Beautiful suggestion".
At the other end of that opinion spectrum there are those saying "What the F**K?!"/"Why do that?"/"That's stupid."

It is LanceVance's Lancer, and he can do what ever the f**k he wants to do with it, but don't expect any mercy from those at the other end of the spectrum.

No spoiler is the best spoiler for the Lancer ES.
Next best is the OZ spoiler.

^^Exactly he asked for people's opinions. If I was going to be unique, I wouldn't ask for anyone's opinion because I would know what I wanted and I would just do it. Sure he's never going to go to the track, but lets face it, everyone has the odd encounter on the street even if it's not necessary a race. Whenever I see a honda with a body kit and a giant wing (as was posted in the links) I laugh my *** off and think "I hope he's actually got some speed to match the riced out look". When it turns out he just has a muffler any admiration I might have had for his investment (even though I would never do it myself) goes down the drain because I'm a speed guy, in my opinion if you make a car look fast it better be fast otherwise you're just a poser. As for the whole clothing analogy, I buy new and nice clothes because I want to get laid, god knows if I didn't have to look good I wouldn't, like every other guy out there. How many guys would stop shaving tomorrow if all women suddenly came to an agreement that scruffy guys are hot?

lol, I'll drink to that. If sloppy guys were in I do think I would let it go.

Yeah, there are those moments when other people do come around and want to give the Lancer a spanking. At least there are more people who like "show and go" and "go" itself to even that out.

In the end, as long we drive Lancers we are all Keep things rolling clean man.

I don't think there's anything wrong at looking at your car and admiring it. I do it all the time because I'm happy with what I've put together. Hell, I look at my wife and son in admiration all the time and there's nothing vain about that.

In the long run, as long as it looks good and isn't overkill then I think it's fine. I don't understand anyone who can take a stance that goes against somebody doing a strictly 'show' type of mod when the same argument isn't raised when somebody else does a strictly 'go' mod like install an intake.
