Can't wait to see it done and on your ride, I'm sure it'll look good, your build keeps getting better, like the progress.

not to shabby. i think the wing "can" look nice.
currently i don't think it looks right, i think you should get some sort of lip kit or body kit to make it balance out. it kinda looks out of place as it is right now.
i can't remember if you have lowered your car, but you may wanna save up for coilovers and do that.

Take some photos from further away, and in day time, so we can get a feel on how it really looks

I see you got it! Congrats!!!

btw...amby...looks like SCLC isnt the ONLY place where your opinion doeens mean s**t...

this is what your car will look like once you get the CF trunk AND put that spoiler on...

good luck with the rest of your mods, and if you need anything, just ask!

OH! and for the comment about how much a stock lancer puts out at the wheels...its 96WHP...
and YES that spoiler IS functional. spoilers are designed for higher speeds to generate down force and the one you have does surve its purpose. PLUS th design on that one in particular is designed to accommidate down force in cornering (i.e. auto x, canyons, etc.). AND the "wing" is adjustable so you can specify the angle and what not. spoilers do not hinder a cars' ability to drive normally (AMBY) so daily driving isnt a problem.

p.s.
those are pictures of MY car. 2002 Lancer 4G64 2.4L OZ Rally!!

keep up the good work on your lancer bro. and when it DOES come to performance and you need ANYTHING...hit me up!

What the hell, are all the SCLC ricers coming out of the wood work to get at me (and no this doesn't mean all of SCLC are ricers, just some)? How is the wing functional, because APR says so? In order for a wing to have a function, it has to be exposed to situations where it is actually put in use. The guy has already said he doesn't plan of racing and the fact he has coilovers sleeves supports this. Downforce isn't just a generic property to wings, you have to be at high speed for them to work. In street driving you won't be hitting these speeds (nor should you be driving in a manner that requires more downforce) and the same goes for autocross, the only guys who have wings on cars like evos, civics and stis are either track ***** or ricers.

uh, just so you know...just because someone doesnt use something for its intended purpose DOESNT mean that it loses the purpose for which it was made. YES that SPOILER is functional...why do hick *** tards like to call things that they hear others call them. wings go parallel to an object, like the fuselodge on an airplane. a SPOILER is what is added to the rear of an object. And if APR says so, i would hold their word to a much higher standard than to that of what ever comes out of that whole in your face. go back to school, READ THIS TIME (assuming you know how) and dont come back until you learn how to contribute positively to what other people are talking about.

Actually if someone doesn't use an object for it's intended purpose it makes them a fool and the product useless. If I buy a rifle and use it as a coat rack, am I a hunter? No, I'm an idiot. If I buy a climbing harness and use it as a fashion item am I a climber? No, I'm probably nuts. If I buy a racing wing and don't race, am I a racer? No, I'm a ricer. Again, of course APR, the seller of this wing, says it's a good idea, it makes for good business. How many harness manufacturers say it's ok to attach the harnesses to the rear seats? How many intake/exhaust manufacturers claim massive horsepower changes? What about the manufacturers of those "power chips" you see on ebay? Taking the sellers word as fact is a very naive stance.

Very nice setup indeed... I think you should post some info in a thread on that 2.4L 4G64 swap (I'm assuming it was a swap). Cadi, I think you can definitely rest assured that your car is headed in the right direction. Ruffryders car is hot and you're following that route nicely!

Congrats on the new additions. As always, I'll be keeping track of your thread
