well right now.. im stuck between rims and/or turbo.. rims will add much needed exterior eye candy but turbo will add alot performance (obviously) and alot of eye candy in the engine bay.. the tough part is gunna be when im on the way to the turbo and have enough for rims.. ohh well.. we'll see.. i think im done with small mods for now.. every penny counts in my savings.. although ive had an A2 UDP on the way..

are you really going to drive the car hard enough to make the turbo worth it? i wouldn't mind a turbo just because i've heard great things about turbo'd lancers, but the last thing i need at the time is a fast car :P
i hope you dont plan on street racing how are the cops down there?

You've got a lot of looks going right now, so i'd say turbo... problem is and you do need to kinda consider it for a minute at least, you'll never get the money out of either the rims or turbo once you decide to sell. If that is something that concerns you at all, get the rims cause they are cheaper.

i dont drive my Lancer much at all.. i dont think that matters though.. i want turbo for the power obviously and for the looks in the engine bay.. but my wife insists i get rims.. so hopefully in 2 months ill have them.. btw i just ordered my front drilled and slotted rotors and axxess pads..

i honestly dont plan to sell my car.. we just got our '07 Jeep Compass and that out daily driver.. i think i wanna go pretty far with my Lancer.. somewhere in the same ballpark as the orange show/street Lancer on here.. ill prolly just rims and suspension for now.. ive felt my stocks kinda loosing it on tight curves i figure i could use the 17x7.5's..

I have 18x7.5 too.
Just so youre aware, they "will" rub.
If youre planning on doin' some real driving like AutoX or something, Id suggest otherwise; BUT 5mm Wheel Spacers will help.
Just a heads up

I have my Evo 8 wing coming from these guys: http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...1896&rd=1&rd=1

They're based in Canada, so it makes customs charges easier on me, but their shipping cost is equal for both the US and Canada, so I think you'd get away with it for near the same price as me since I have to convert into CDN currency. Overall, I'm looking at about $300 CDN delivered. If you notice in their extra notes, for $200 they have the mock carbon fiber middle section version. Any of the carbon fiber mid-piece Evo spoilers you see now aren't true CF... instead it's a CF design wrap put around it and bonded. With the nice looks you have going on now with black accenting, I'd say definitely get the CF mid-piece one though.

NO, they will not rub if you have the correct offset.

and what offset would that be??.. if you are so kind as to tell us..

right now im looking at either TENZO MACH 10's.. or TENZO GF7's.. the MACH 10 is lip less.. but it is all black.. but the GF7 has a chrome lip just like newfoundlancer's and it doesnt look as 'street'.. i think i want the LIP.. remember fellas.. i have no plans to race this car on tracks.. im going for a car some1 would take a picture of.. and start a topic saying "damn this lancer is clean any1 know who owns it.. it only comes out once in a while"..

NOT FULL SHOW.. but definitely a looker.. and maybe ill punk a honda or 2 once in a while.. lol
