Repainting my car
Repainting my car
So my cars paint is terrible now. The job which Crayola er I mean Mitsu did is pretty bad and I want to repaint my car but I want to keep it the same color. If I go to a paint shop and give them my paint code (Which is A02 for Thunder Grey) will they be able to match the color and repaint my car? Or atleast touch up the spots which need to be?
All depends how much u planning to spend. I personally like FIX AUTO bodywork as they have re-painted my front bumper twice. They do really good job at matching the paint and they are little expensive too. If u dont have that much of a budget than go with MAACO.
If you are getting the whole thing repainted, color match doesn't have to be exact. The only parts that you would really run into even seeing a paint line is in the door jambs (if they they do it the easy way).
For touch up, color match is more important. But, any good body shop will have a computerized smart scale that makes it so pretty much any idiot can match paint.

Yeah, I was thinking about just repainting it to white but the problem is that I have a TG Lancer. Id have to paint the door jambs and then under my hood its gonna look funny haha.
