my eyelids need help

well i bought that 2lb strength foam double sided stickies but it seems kinda weak.. i can yank them right off.. is this how it is supose to be or can someone lead me toward a better way to stick the eyelids on my headlights.. and another thing, i was wondering if when on it should block all the light coming from the top, did i place them crooked? or is this how it is going to be.. because there is a slight strip of light sneaking out over the top of the eyelid when looking from above.

double sided tape, just apply it the right way, warm up the lights and warm up the eyelids, then stick the tape on, it'll adhere better that way.

oh okay thanks for all of your input

BUT i was wondering if you guys could tell me WHICH double sided tape you guys bought... because i was gona buy the permanate one but it didnt seem too strong.. is this the one that you guys just used? or what brand if any one remembers

it didnt seem strong enough so i bought some foam squares that hold 2lbs but it lets light go out through the top.. that is when looking from above onto the hood/light area.

Yeah. I use 3m double sided FOAM tape.. thicker size. The longer it stays on the harder it is to pull it off. lol.. when I painted my headlights I had to rip the eyelids off and I couldnt even get all the tape off. even with wd40 and a razor blade.

transtar makes a double sided foam tape that i find works a LOT better then the 3M, and the 3M is overpriced

with the FOAM TAPE doesnt it stick off the light more.. and you can see the foam squares if you look at it from an angle .. and then you can see the light creeping out or will i always see some light comming out
