painted dash
well i took out my entire dash to paint it. but the long silver trim is held on by 2 screws under the AC control and radio piece and then by clips but u can just pull it off. the whole dash is held on by like 20 10mm screws. it comes off pretty easy actually.
I'll give you this Z:
When you set your mind to something, you don't ever quit.
I don't think I could see myself in that every day, but damn dude, it's a mightly clean job.
You should be proud of yourself.

Hey Zlancer I used some of that rustoleum sunburst on my car and after like 6 months the humidity got to it and it started coming up. Not all the plastic is the same. The plastic on the defroster vents is different than the plastic around the gauge cluster. I cleaned both with goo gone and primed them with plastic primer and the paint still eventually came off the defroster vents while it is still perfect on the gauge cluster. Basically Im saying keep an eye on those vents. And if you need to get the paint off get some aircraft stripper it wont eat the vent plastic I cant vouch for any of the other parts.
Hmm.. interesting about those vents, I was thinking about doing something with the vents as well. Maybe I should just go ahead with LED's instead of paint.

I think the blue just looks silly w/ it, I like mine w/ the black and yellow pannels... If you like it though, it's awesome. Maybe it looks better in person

Ugh, colors dont look so good. Blue, red, and yellow? I dunno man...
