Lovin the car... been so busy with work lately that I haven't gotten around to an update.. My wideband is still not installed in the exhaust. I ended up having to get a new fuse box installed in my tracker, so that took a little cash. Hopefully I'll have somethin to update with you guys soon!

DAMN! I just spent about an hour to read this whole thread! It is the most interesting thing I've read since forever, and I've got to say...I WANT A MANUAL!!! My ****ing baby (car) is a damn automatic, I'm about to trade it in, and start from square one, or I may just buy a ralliart, I don't know what I want to do, but...this isn't a thread about me, I have to say bro, this lancer is beautiful, you're the kind of builder who inspires the rest of us to do something with our lancers.

Sooo... the summer is gone, I figured I'd give a little update on how the summer went overall. Basically, where the thread last ended is where the mods finished up for now. Some things that may have to be revisited over the winter would be:

-Suspension... the Eibach setup just seems to be a little "off" whereby it gives little knocking noises every now and then as if the springs are too short and losing contact with the mounting plates... Coilovers are probably gonna be the next step here.

-Ebay H-Chassis bar... I randomly get a loud bang noise... I haven't gotten around to fully investigating it, but I'm figuring it's the exhaust banging off the H-bar since there isn't much clearance there. Basically, I'll have to get under the car to have a good look at the H-bar and see if there has been significant contact made onto it.

-Aftermarket braided steel clutch line... it leaked.. The one I had purchased had a PVC coating on it, and one day i noticed my clutch was really hard to get to disengage, and just behaving badly overall... so I had a look when i got home, and the PVC coating was filled with clutch fluid making it basically look like a blown up sausage. To my dismay, I had thrown out the stock line, so I ended up buying another one and had my local dealership install it... Soo... $250 wasted going back to stock there..

-Wideband sensor... still haven't had it put into the exhaust... thus, still never tuned the car with EvoScan/ECUFlash... I'll try to get it done before storing the car for the winter again.. but time to work on the car or cash to get someone else to do it has been limited :P

Basically, the only thing that I managed to get added on was a lower banner of tint on the front windshield. And... since my ex moved out 4 months ago with her digi-cam, and I've been too cheap to buy one of my own... I have no pics of that for you guys yet! lol.

Oh well... winter is modification/refining time anyways... basically I've just been driving the car like I stole it all summer. I got about 5200km's added onto the odometer overall.

I'll keep you guys updated as things happen again this winter... it's weird thou, my thoughts of modding have been drifting towards my tracker lately.. lol.
