i too didnt think it made that much more of a difference...

but after i took off my evo wing...that car just wasnt as stable, expecially freeway speeds, and you can feel the rear end...weird i know...with that said he doesnt drive 10/10th's all the time, he drives 15/10ths all the time, stupid ya i know....but thats his responsibility...

he takes his car to 140mph quite often and if he feels that he is safe that way then let him be

it might be the roads then.. but my Lancers height is adjusted to my driving style.. and at about 160 km i feel my rear end loose at ****.. i have an APR CF wing on the way.. just to improve handling..

I've recently sold my Evo VIII wing and I DO feel a slight push to either side, especially when windy... But only @ 70+ mph!

I'm sure a spoiler does make a difference, I certainly won't argue that, I'm simply saying that on a car like ours (FWD) you don't need a massive erector set to get the desired effects. IMO an evo spoiler would do the job. How many evos get to 140 mph on the track with their stock wings?

i guess i just feel the car more than most people and i can feel the boundries and i can feel where it pushes and when i need more stability.

I'm not saying you don't need more stability, hell when I eventually get my act together and install my turbo I'll probably get a spoiler as well (as I mentioned earlier), I'm simply saying you don't need a giant "racer/ricer" wing. An evo wing would be sufficient or there's other options. You could get a vortex generator, a CF ralliart spoiler (RRM), a OZ style spoiler, a trunk lip, or if you feel especially adventurous you could even try a spoiler from a different car like the mazdaspeed protege spoiler (which I think would look awesome). As I said your car looks great right now and I think adding a huge wing would really ruin it and make people think less of the car.

Yep and IMO it looks fantastic. It's a little higher than the stock ralliart spoiler but still shorter than an evo spoiler. To me it gives the car an aggressive look without going overboard. Match it with a CF hood and a vortex generator (black or CF) and you'd have plenty of downforce and a damn fine looking car.
Here we go, Pete's got one.
