I Aus the cops are REALLY tight on external lights. My friend had a neon behind his front number plate, he got pulled up and they roadworthyed his car.
I have blue neons in the front footwells. I like to drive with them on, I can see my feet at night. From the outside all you can see is a slight blue underglow on your face.

 

i was at barnes and nobles havin a coffee and when i leave i see this red, early 90's grand am with green neons. i point them out to my friend, a fellow car guy who likes to make fun of posers, and the kid musta seen me point. he goes "nice ride huh" in the most "i'm a cool guy" tone he could
so we get in my friend's red M3 and drive /really/ slowly by him, not lookin at him directly, but makin sure he got a good look at what we were rollin that night
we got stopped at a red light about 10 mins later and the grand am is goin through the green and waves a challange at us as he goes.

I hate those cars that have the neon dome light which they leave on while they are driving, it looks so gay.

I don't know if you have this where you are, but there is a store by me called American, that sells decent neon's. i had them put on my old truck, bought and installed for under $300. don't know if this will help you or not.

 

I have blue gold series street glow on my car... was installed and everything for 300$

 

What's the difference between the GOLD SERIES and the BLUE LINES?

 

First of all "RobertK" there's a blue line series and a gold line series not blue gold like u said in your post.

Second of all gold series neons come with a transformer and all the wiring u will need, and like i said before have a lifetime waranty on them if they burn out.

To get legit streeglow neons you have to buy them through the company or an offical streetglow dealers.
