I have blue neons on the interior because I like the black and blue color scheme with meh car. They are on the interior for a reason 
Im the only one who has to look at them As for underbody kits, the others are right about all show no go. Get some "GO" if joo are going to ride around looking like you can eat a 900hp vette. And if your a "no go" car, then I guess its cool if you have sponsers, for AT SHOW PURPOSES ONLY.

I have white underbodies on my red lancer and it looks awsome.
My friend has red underbodies on his yellow lancer and look alright.

Neons?
First off, you gotta choose b/tw wether or not you want to have a Performance car, or a Show car. Honestly, a 2002 OZ Lancer can't produce the power to quench my thirst for power, even though I drive like I want it to. 
Anyway, I know that if you want to get that whole "show car" look, neons are a must. I mean, if you stick neons on your 93 Civic..........that's gay. But......if you stick some nice color coordinated neons on a Mitsu. EVO 8 with a body kit, upgraded engine, exhaust.......then your neons "flow" with the car. I believe that neons are ONLY acceptable when the rest of the car stands out as much as the neons do. End of story.

i dont know about the rest of you, but when i think neons, i think fast and furious, and when i think fast and furious, i think gay, sorry, but neons are sooooo dumb and a waist of cash, and the people who usually put them on cars have almost zero taste as far as im considured, but hey, thats just my opinion, so if anyone tries to knock me down you can just go to he!!

Just a little is good in the interior but like going all out and putting it under your car and your dash etc is too much for me. I don't mind looking at them but I wouldn't put a underbody neon kit in my car.
