holy crap this thread was resurrected like 3 times, ok so the answer is right in the word Neon. a big NO heh. Personally I think underglow neons and in car neons and other neon/LED lights should be kept in strickly show cars ... and if you want to, you could save the money from the underglow into a turbo kit fund. Everytime you have the money to do something to your car appearance wise put it in the fund and before you know it, your car will be fast enough that people won't be able to make out your car's appearance as you blow by them. That and they won't laugh when they see neons ... of couse civic owners probably wouldn't laugh, but then again they are civic owners.

 

i dont see anything wrong with neons/leds/under body kits.

i got all kinds of neons/led's in my car, and im still adding some more, get that WHOLE inside glow effect. im gonna do a blue or aqua underbody kit. my interior neons are blue/aqua. looks awesome.

in fact...right now my backseat is all ripped out cuz im putting some in, hiding all the wires..ya know. well i got a neon on each C Pillar, a neon above each B pillar, i got 2 neons under the dash, 2 strobes under the dash, a mini strobe in front of my gear shifter, 2 dash lights facing the stereo, a neon under my rear seat. and i still got another 9" neon, 2 6" neons, 2 blue LED's, a LED scanner bar, and some pedals to go....so HA how about THAT for RICEY! and im all stock performance wise...but this summer im gonna be turbocharged, w00t!

holy crap that looks good! boy, we gotta talk... that looks 100X better than normal underbody kits, IMO.

 

I've been looking into these for a while and you are the first lancer i've seen with them. Looks very nice.

 

Here Guys I bought mine from this guy on ebay. He's got a lot of kits for sale and cheap! I got mine for only like 80 bucks but paid almost 40 for shipping, thats where they get you but it's still a good deal.

Hey if you guys like the car, Can you vote a bit and bring up my rating a little. I'm slacking there and Don't know why it's so low. Yeah I had neons on my last car for about a day before I crashed and totaled the car. So now with my new car I decided to go with the LEDs and don't regret it at all. They are a lot brighter and look better too.

 

That looks great, it is alot better than neon and way more reliable..
Yeah, I have VARAD l.e.d kit on my car and I love the brightness of it also...Enjoy and try not to get pulled over too much

My car is lowered if your talking to me. if I went any lower the tires would rub and I don't want that. But If your talking to Adam, alright.

you know the truth is that i HARE neons, but i must admit, it looks AWESOME. wow never thought id like neons.
