How to install interior neons?

I recently let one of my friends install some neons to my car. I thought I was doing him a favor by lettin him do it for a little money cause he is in school and a little short. Well when i came back he had it hooked up to some cheap *** power strip and honestly it looks like crap. How do you hook all the lights up to 1 switch. I have about 8 tubes and gonna put LED's in the dash vents. I think I pretty much know how to hook it up from the switch, but how do I get all the lights to one switch? Thanks!

Get this thing I got from Pepboys. Its a power strip mabe by Bell Automotive where the power cables from neons attach directly to it and it and then that strip gets hot-wired to your fuse box. And it has its own swtich. Find Import Tuner magazine and find the ad that says "Like Quickies?"

you can connect it to the back of ur headunit but it will limit you to how many (u might blow ur fuse). or another way is just wire everything to ur main batt.

is that bell thing long enough? my friend has it and i was looking at it and its kinda big and the wires didnt look like its long enough to reach from the inside of the car if u connect it to the fuse box .... if u looking for another switch go to best buy. they have a lil' reciever that makes ur neons blink to the beat of the music. it might get u dizzy though. i have one neon under every seat and it made my friend throw up after drinking in my car... my car is offically a 1 seater now

do you have a system>? when i had my neons i spliced a wire from my power cable from my battery that goes to my amp. i ran this wire to a switch i bought from autozone (NOS switch with blue LED), then a wire connected to ground, and the last wire i have all of my neons spliced off of it. works just fine, and the wires didn't go anywhere because i soldered them all. good luck, if you need any more help just ask, its a pretty easy task and if anyone wants i have aqua/turquoise/baby blue neons for sale....4 9", 2 6", 1 quad cig. lighter pod, & 1 4" neo-blue/dark blue (beats to bass) PM me

i want neons to, i was thinking of putting some under the dash, and wire them under the main console sort of to the cig. lighter...u know wut i mean? like have them connect to that for power and than wherever for a ground.

im gonna conceal my switches though, not have em out and showing, it will be PIMP!! mua ha ha lol. modify my cig-tray to have switches under it, i got some of those blue LED Billet switches from Autozone, pretty nice, just gotta put my strobes on my car...gonna install them behind the front grill i think if i can...have them blue/red mua ha ha or jsut both blue i guess, or clear...either way its just a gelcap covering them so i can change it easily...hehe, flip em on with red/blue when some *** pulls in front of me at nite mua ha ha lol that'd be great! nah i won't do that...could lead to really bad things like real po-pos flashin lights.

Yeah I'm *pretty* sure that it is lifetime against breakage and **** like that...the warranty on the L.E.D's i'm not sure but I think that they are included in that warranty also....

Lightbulb Blacklight & Underglow Opinions

I don't know much about my car, the 2003 U.S. Lancer OZ Rally, but i'm working on slowly customizing it into what i'd like it to become. But i'm not too sure on what I want, except for a similar replica to the Evolution. (me = jealous of Evo owners)

So what does blacklight and underglow have to do with this? Well, quite frankly, i'm interested in the opinions of those who own other Lancers here. (or know what's going on with show cars) Mostly because I am going TOMORROW to have them installed in my [stock/uncustomized] car.

What's your take on this? Would you think having neon inside and outside of a [currently stock] U.S. Lancer OZ Rally make it seem really out of place?

BTW: I have a Silver Lancer with plans of making red underglow and custom wired blacklights under the front driver and passenger seats.

well as long as you plan to enter shows lighting like that will bump up your points....but driving around with them on a stock lancer will most likely get you made fun of and everyone will call u rice and whatnot.

from experience....if your going to be serious about this...get the most expensive things done first...and stop wasting your money on small details like lighting.

Well at a car show the other day. A pretty much stock Celica (intake and exhaust) had strobe lights in the front, different color changing underbody neones, white to red, and i think it was lowered, won the Best Tuner award. Man were some guys pissed who have worked hard on there cars to be beaten by that. Well it was a chick too, so the judges probably used that as a factor.
