You probably should have went with a dual vent like the APS if you wanted sound.

Still sound vs. performance which one do you choose.

It is both recirc and vent . I really don't think the risk of running rich in between shifts, stalling and idle issues is worth it. I think I'll just buy a mr one and call it a day.

But if it recirculates and vents, wouldn't it be okay?

It does both though.....at the same time o technically it should be fine and it seems to work with the EVO with out problem.

Still though it's a little ridiculously priced just to have a little chirp.

i had the Type-RS on my setup and took it off after a week, was not due to no noise, just didn't work very well for the VTA setup, car would stall at a red light, since the valve would not close fast enough, since then i went with a Tial system, big difference and still have the nice loud PPSSHHHTTT noise when letting off the gas.

IMO, just do your homework, it's better to research your project, then to have some else tell you what is good or not, this way you can do it your way and do it the best way that works for you. Just my 2 cents

the only bov that RRM sells is the Greddy type rs in my experience, though if rock would care to chime in i would like to know. I have the MR bov, not much chirp. It is more of a loud ftvvvvv. dunno if that makes sense.

I called RRM today. They said Type S should be fine. All that matters is that it Recirculates. That is what is important.
