? I meant in terms of running a turbo without any gauges. One boost spike and the motor is history.

yeh.... A N/A motor that is now turboed can be tricky. luckily RRM has it down but I would have plenty of gauges to monitor. Wideband, boost, egt, oil pressure, water temp, oil temp.

But at least get Boost.....

I suggest boost/EGT for sure you will want EGT so you know when it's time to let off for a bit

We hooked up a ZEITRONIX ZT-2 to this car to tune it. Zt-2 is the best setup going for the money.

AFR Wideband
EGT
Boost Gauge.

Plus you can log on the laptop!

For Manny everything was already done for him.

Zeitronix is by far the best since it's accurate and compact. Not sure if I'd feel comfortable running without at least a boost gauge, I'm sure the tune is great but I'd worried about what would happen if something else went wrong.

It's like sex but digitized... And yah I that played leisure suit larry game... Not really a good comparison, but you do get the same "I'm finally winning in life" feeling everytime you turn it on.

Trust me, widebands are better than narrowbands... Size matters boys.
Gear up and Race on.

I really need to get a boost gauge, but the ZT-2 sounds awesome. What should i get? The ZT-2 sounds pricey!

I would get the whole package (and I did ). Hopefully nothing goes wrong but this way you'll have three methods to diagnose a problem (what the boost was at, what the EGTs were, what the A/F was). You can never have too much information.
