Yeah I gotta side with Bryce, I don't understand the whole "buying something and not knowing much about it" thing. My friend does that with his car. He put on a header cause I have one but he didn't know a thing about it. Same with his short shifter and bushings. Not too long ago he had to ask me what a turbo and a supercharger actually do even though he owned a supercharged bonneville.

I know what the turbo does and all. I am not completely stupid. I did research my kit. It took me a year to decide to get the non-ic and the ic kit.

heres what you got, a piggyback fuel controller for that fifth injector that you have plugged into the the pipe going from the turbo outlet to the throtle body, you also prob have a walbro pump but im not sure about that part.

im wondering how much better rrm considers this fifth injector setup, i have the fmu and walbro setup myself.

the 5th injector i heard was for the returnless fuel systems. thats why the 02 03 RRM kits don't use the 5th injector.

right.. I wasnt calling you stupid. I assume you did look at the kits to see which would fit your wallet and power wants better. But as you have stated. You arnt even sure exactly what your running for a fuel system. Thats the kinda thing im talkin about. Turbo'ing a N/A motor is not 100% reliable for sure. I would want to know where everything is and exactly whats goin on just encase Rob isnt around to save your ***. Nice kit tho.

Search is my suggestion, im just to lazy right now and the nba playoffs are on (i hope chicago wins!).

There have been many horror stories regarding synthetic oil, especially on the hotter non ic setup. AND at 7psi (which i would not advize) Its a no-no. just use regular oil and play it safe.

Edit: Rob do you have an opinion on oil, cuz the turbo install instructions i got even state dont use synthetic.

I actually know a guy in Los Angeles who was running synthetic for the first time and about 5 days later his rod was in his lap.

Second edit: Dem Z, the link to Dohc and Sohc comparrison is down.

It was $2999 for the turbo and an extra $300 for the t-28, $210 for header and $550 for the install. Turbo is from RRM and i had it installed at RRM.
