Back to the wastegate annoyance. I get a muffler shop to weld a pipe from the wastegate to the downpipe, right?

Here is a pic.

that is 100% correct. try to have that downpipe upgraded to 2.75 or 3.0

yezzzir!! i wonder if its just possible to make a 2nd exhaust line going to the back (but not showing any mufflertips... cuz a lancer with dual exhaust looks funnny lol) the reason i wonder is because i HEARD recircing the watsegate creates hella turbulance inside the system.. so if it just flowed straight out i wonder would that be good

He will be at 7 psi, not 8 psi. Plenty of fuel for that with this setup.

It's amazing how much differnt 7psi feels from 5psi. The car seems like it has more power under the hood, a small psi change makes a big diffrence... this kit is a HUGE impovement over stock lancer.

You know what, I really haven't asked. Ill ask Rob later what exactly was installed in the car...of the top of my head: headers, t-28 turbo, bosch BOV, wastegate. I don't remember anything else.

This is the only bad thing about not being involved in the install or even researching turbos before you get an aftermarket one. The install is great and its cool but holy hell. Learn everything about the kit and how the kit in the lancer works... Your not even sure what you bought? I just dont understand this personally.

It doesn't bother me as much. I can just go out to my car an examine it. Figure out what does what all on my own.
