I have the eibach pro kit on mine. The ride is great, however I'm noticing a little rattle noise when going over bumps in the front struts. I tightened everything up last night, so I'll see if it's still happening when I have the car out again. Either way, I'd easily recommend the Eibach kit.

yae most people will say no on springs because coilovers are so much better to get.
but for the people like us that dont have a few grand to just drop on coilovers springs are the only way to go to drop our cars.
the Tein progressives are good as well as the K-sports.
havent heard much about the Eibach kit but he says its good so you might want to look into those!

I wouldn't definitely say get coilovers instead. Yes the initial invest is higher (you can get a decent set of coilovers for 700$) but you also don't have to worry about blowing out your stock shocks (which are a small fortune to replace) and you get a real suspension system not just a visual mod (IMO springs are for looks only).

The thing about coilovers, is that they too can blow or can start to leak... But others have said that the Eibach springs might be too "forgiving" allowing the car to bounce more allowing for more bottoming out conditions. <-- Which is now why I need 4 new struts. I have Eibach springs on Ground Control coilovers.

Hear the Shunk2 and Progressive springs are stiffer.

If you have about $800 bucks, go with coil overs. Some nice Tein ones should do the trick. Heard they are good.

I had Progress Springs on mine and loved them(I'm selling some too )

Anyways, I don't have a single complaint from the springs. Just expect to upgrade your struts down the line. Just like coil overs thou.

If your in a budget, I would recommend some Tein or Progress springs. If you have the $$$, g with some nice Coil overs. NOT the $80 Ebay ones.

How long did you have them on your car? Whats the average time/mileage on struts going on after upgrading suspension?

If you just want a good comfortable ride (that you can still use the stock struts with) and the looks, I've heard Eibach springs are the best. If you can afford to spend a little more, I would recommend the Tein basics. I just got them put on last week and the handling is amazing. It's like a street legal go-cart. Oh, and have a good, reputable shop do the install. Better to spend a little more now than to risk having to spend more later because of a bad install.

Is it really that easy to screw the install up? I do everything myself with the help of some ricer friends. I have trouble bringing up the money for the product in the first place.

It's time consumming, but it's not that hard to do. As long as you have the right tools, or have access to the right tools (spring compressor and impact gun), you're good to go. There is a very good "How to" somewhere on the site.

I would say if you goin for a low budget go with the tein S-Tech springs really nice. Rides smooth as hell and give you a real noticeable drop but hey if you got the cash to burn go with the tein damper kit.
