Took some pics while doing an easy mod

Here's some pics of my engine bay, notice anything different?

I rerouted my throttle cable to go behind the intake manifold rather than across the valve cover.

It's a very simple mod, all you do is unbolt the bracket from the valve cover and move it to a bolt right at the top of the engine bay.
I took some other pics while I was at it. At the moment nothing has really changed exterior-wise but I'm going to order some rims (in literally 15 minutes) and I have brakes, rotors and lines going in on Tuesday.

Interior-wise I finally got around to putting my evo gauges in. Looks a million times better than the stock ES gauges.

Here's the other cars in the family (minus my mom's Outback which was gone).

Finally my giant dog.

Yeah he looks like he'd rip you apart since he weighs over 100 pounds and has paws close to the size of my hands but he's the biggest puss in the world.

No more arguing about his Evo interior. If the Lancer came with a hotter interior and more name brand nice stuff, we wouldn't have to buy it from the evos for cheaper than new. So anyways, very nice stuff. Just don't try to redline at 7 grand lol. So back to the title, did you feel any difference in throttle feel (Ino not performance), just that if you move the cable here, will it make the cable any harder to pull? I doubt it, but just asking. And lastly, I think it's time for a manifold repaint lol.

Nope feels just like stock. Another thing to point out is you have to reroute the throttle cable to do this. Stock it runs under the intake pipe, up to the valve cover and then to the TB. If you just tried to go straight up and over you'd end up with a coiled throttle cable. All you have to do is go back under the intake pipe and straight to the firewall instead.

firstly its off the same basic car, and therfore they bolt on!

second, the seats look nice and are more comfy.

and the wheel is smaller in diameter and looks nicer.

The Evo interior looks much better than the Lancer. How hard is that to understand? What are Evo owner's problems? I'm tired of cleaning up crap from people asking why we feel the need to put Evo parts on our cars. The evo seats and wheel are racing parts made by aftermarket companies. If we are going to upgrade, why not get something used cheaper and that we know will fit perfect in our car. Now I wouldn't go as far as saying they are the same basic car, but yeah, they are both lancers and have the same interior specs. Deal with it and don't ask stupid questions that will get deleted because they start arguements.

^Exactly, most of parts were bought because of what they are, not what car they came from. The seats were bought because they are Recaros, bolt right in and were cheap considering what they are. The wheel and the gauges were bought because I liked them. I considered getting an aftermarket wheel but why not get one that looks great, again bolts right in, and has an airbag to boot? The hood was bought because it was cheaper than getting my stock hood repainted.
I don't understand what people's problem is. It's not Momo and Recaro are exclusive to the evo. They existed long before they made parts for Mitsubishi. I could see being angry if I got an evo body kit, slapped on an evo badge and acted like I drove an evo, but it's just some interior parts.
