Why does the Fake CF panels on the interior of your cars both look silver to me? did you both paint them to give them that aluminum look that people were talking about? or am i blind and cant see the fake CF?

I think it's the sun reflecting off the plastic CF.
LOL
It's regular plastic.
No alumuinum at all. But that was what I wanted, a titanium look with a lancer stamp of my own font design impressed into it or something.

maybe it's just me, but how in the world would you put an after market HU in there with the knobs and buttons overlapping like that?

No clue on the HU question. Luckily, I'm very happy with the RF system, so I have no plans to change it.

Yeah, the flash on the camera is bouncing off the fake CF. Just check the site for quality interior pictures.

Car got it's first washing today. Tried to wax it, but the whole "it'll air-dry in the sun" plan didn't work so hot. Maybe this weekend it'll get it's first full treatment.

BTW the stock HU looks alot better when everything is on, the display is inset and pretty decent. Not too bad.

Thank God for new cars. Got the "MITSUBISHI" off the trunk using nothing but a spatula (from the kitchen! ). A little bit of WD-40 on a rag got the residue off. Total time - 1 minute.

No plans to remove the or LANCER, but I'm kinda tempted to move the LANCER to the left side of the trunk. Maybe look into a custom GTS badge or something.

Also learned that the wing is glued on, so I guess I won't be removing that sucker anytime soon.

Yeah I debadged mine too.
It WAS easy. I used my fingernails and the goo gone.
That worked out well.
I took the Lancer and the Mitsubishi off.
Left the diamond on.
Looks real clean, now.
But the wing is GLUED on??
I didn't know that! I mean i didn't bother looking yet, but still, glue??
Is that common?

Its glued on?? Wouldn't it eventually come off after slamming the trunk shut a few hundred times and driving it?

OK, let me rephrase...

In addition to the 2 bolts and 2 nuts holding the wing down, it's also held on by the same glue that holds the badges on.

So yesterday I removed the bolts and nuts, but the wing didn't budge. I looked closely and noticed that the wing is also glued down.
