Mods = maybe.

I'd like to avoid modding it, but changing some of the simple stuff (intake, axleback) is terribly tempting. Mostly it'll depend on my financial situation dealing with the new car payment...

 

the new interior/radio/console area looks horrible, the rest isnt bad.




is it as slow as the old lancers?

 

you should do some cheap/simple things..like badge overlays, painted calipers, smaller antenna. But your car looks good!~

 

I want a moose. A GTS wouldn't be so bad either. Very nice. Makes me want one.

 

Pretty sweet. I like the new look.

 

I personally like the interior stuff, but that's subjective.

Much faster. The 4B11 is roughly 50 HP stronger and you can DEFINITELY feel it. My last Lancer was a manual and this one is CVT (auto), but it still feels much faster than the 4G94.

No reason yet, really. I like the badges the way they are, the calipers are still shiny silver, and no one makes a shorter antenna yet.

But I will gladly grab a Perrin shortie antenna if they make one...

Coming back to just felt right. My little AWD excursion was fun, but that Subaru was freaking falling apart!

 

Have you looked into the lowering springs RRM has for the new lancer, or you don't want to screw around with the new suspension yet? That would be one of the only things I would do.

I checked out the new shape when I went to Maryland on vacation.

Glad to hear that all our moaning about our powerless OZ's resulted in the upgraded engine.

I have looked at them, yes. My budget is currently rather low with the new car payments and all. Also, I'm really hoping KYB comes out with some nice AGXs for the new platform.

I'll probably get the springs someday. Just not soon.

I know what you mean. I hated the new body at first, but it's (obviously) really grown on me. Go get one!

I agree on the engine. The rise in power is great, even in my CVT auto.

I've already written one article (should be on the articles page soon). I'll be updating as I autocross and such.
