hey all. I just bought the accolade evo 8 kit for my lancer. Some idiot backed into me in a parking garage and damaged my hood and front bumper, so I decided to get this kit. I didn't want anything super flashy and wanted to stay similar to what I had, so I thought this was the best option. what I want to know is if anyone has this kit, how did the bumpers fit / finish of the kit when it came. Also, I have emailed accolade 3 times already for shipment/tracking info and they have yet to contact me back. they sure did email me back asap when it came to billing my credit card though.... just wanted some info. thanks btw, I will post before and after pics when I get the kit.

Yellow ones are older models made of weak fiberglass.

The black ones and accolades new material.....lots better than fiberglass.

 

its still fiberglass, the new one are just layed in a better mold and the gel coat isnt just painted on.

 

I will be happy even if i get a reply back from ACCOLADE.

SEARCH before you buy from any vendors...Good luck w/ getting the kit.

 

yeah, still no reply, and they billed my cc like over two weeks ago....

 

I have the evo 8 body kit from accolade, i'll say that it was the biggest mistake i ever made. A friend of mine bought the evo 7 kit, he felt the same way. I had the worst business experience with them, too.

 

great.... all I've been hearing is not so good reviews... anyone have anything good to say about them?

research before ur purchase, i bought a it from them, it was descent, good design, ok quality

 

Dave and Dimantha are great. They fixed my issue with a bad kit and got me a new one. THey were great with me because I did not always come one here whining, like some others do. I realize that it sucks not knowing the status and all, but Dave will take care of you bro. Dave, y'all gonna be trying the seibon thing again! I should be close to getting my hood on! I just wish that I lived in Cali, so I could stop by the shop. Those SCLC guys are lucky to beable to drop on and pick up their own kit if they want.

 

yeah, I lived in the s.f. bay area in Cali until I got stationed in Georgia....

 

accolades stuff are cool. You should be careful buying any kit thats a lot of money.
