for those that have done it... what brand paint did you use?? and what are the step by step procedures on how to... i'd like to paint my cover as well.. thanks

 

Why does it matter if it's a mivec cover or not? Just go get some high heat paint from autozone, take the cover off, sand it up a little, degrease it, take it off, and paint it.

 

^yup the stiff from auto zone works. thats what i used.

I took mines to the body shop so that the paint matches the car... I'll post some pictures if you want...

Do you mean the valve cover? You have an 03 lancer, it doesn't have mivec thus no mivec cover. There's a step by step guide on here, search. Drucea, just close this thread, this has been covered over and over again in the past.
