ok so heres the deal this is what my car currently looks like so far. the only things that have been done are the rims, exhaust, and rear wing. currently it is in the shop getting the hood painted black to go with the rims and wing. i will post pictures of that tomorrow hopefully. what i want to know is if i should lower it or get some side skirts to match the color of the car and a front lip that is black. the thing is that ive heard that lowering your car can make the drive worse and that it can hurt your car. any comments or advise on either lowering it or getting the sideskirts/front lip?

 

Everything looks good except for that wing. Get ready to hear a lot of negative feedback for that wing...but it only matters what you think about your car

 

^ manny is right...with a car that is as close to stock as yours, the wing just doesnt go..
but hey I personally love that kind of wing, CF APR?
just doesnt go with the rest of the car.
things to do before the wing would consist of:
drop,
body kit/lip kit,
definatly some tint,
wheels look ok tho.

 

i will trade you my OZ wing for that one.

looking good btw. Get a ralliart lip kit though, it'll make the car look more aggressive. Also get some coilovers. i know a few people who are selling some for decent prices

personally i would get some coilovers before i got the lip kit. Just because they are pretty much the best suspension mod you can get. But it depends how much you wanna spend, i would assume a lip kit is cheaper, i may be wrong though

 

If your gonna get a metal wing, that's the one to get... but it looks out of place with the "stock" look of the rest of the car. A lot of wings will do that i guess. I saw a lancer once with a completely stock exterior except for an evo wing and it looked soo weird

 

ok i think im not going to lower it and instead go with some lip stuff since people say that wings look right with some type of kit so heres what i think im gonna do.

good plan. i would paint the front lip too though, otherwise it's just gonna look funny

 

does anyone have pics of the Ralliart/OZ Side skirts w/ that lip? i've seen ones w/ both, but if anyone could hit me up w/ a picture of an exact side profile so i can see how they they line up w/ each other. I may also go down this route and get that lip and ralliart sideskirts. PM me please. thanks

Looks nasty, i don't like it.

Loose the wing, lower it and get a real carbon fiber hood, shorty antenna to improve the look and handling.
