Shots of Mitsu installed Leather seats. I was asking for pics a while back but I finally made the appointment to get them done, I bought it as part of the car but the car I wanted didnt have em so they were installed afterwards, anyways enjoy. I will post up more shots when I get my cam charged

Center section is perforated and had them do the stitching in red. Nice touch I think

Not to be negative, but who installed the kit. it looks like the fit is horrible. they do not look like they are leather covers, but cheap slip ons. I would have expected them to fit as good as some of the other leather pics i have seen. iam now glad i did not order that pattern for mine. I am now going to rethink doing mine in that GTS pattern. The standard pattern looks like it fits much better. For what Mitsubishi charges those should look and fit much better. Let us know if they stretch a bit and conform better to the seats.

I mean he is actually right look at the drivers side bolster the seats look good but were not installed correctly. Great seats bad shop work I personally dont like the bright alcantra but overall I do like the look of thje GTS package seats but if you are a nitpicker for detail like me you will notice that the shop who did the install did a half a s s job or it takes time for the leather to stretch and fit right but to me it just looks like a bad install.

I am not trying to hate. I just think for the price he paid for the kit, he was not taken care of properly. I think the kit itself looks good, but as stated above, the install is horrible. The shop his dealer uses is definately not worth what they charge. A leather kit installed should look like the above picture and be nice and tight. I have these pics in hand and am bringing them to my shop to make sure that they also feel it is an installer problem and not with the kit. I am ordering the same one for my GTS, just not with the Red accents. I am going outside Mitsubishi and am getting it in the colors i want. I am surprised the kit looks like that becuase the kit is put together by Katzkins and not my Mitsubishi, they just have the Mitsubishi logo imprinted into it by Katzkins. I have seen many katxkins kits and have never seen one look like that installed. I have helped install many kits and we never had one turn out that bad. it looks like the owner needs to go back to his dealer with pictures of how it should look and have it taken care of. maybe he can post pics of his door panels also. I hope they did those better than the seats.

 

huh? door panels? haha I didnt even check to see if that was done. I was thinking it fit like that cause the leather is stiff since its new.

I asked that the whole seat be black, but they still did the red accents but they did however do the red stitching I asked for.

I dont mind the negative comments, everyone is entitled to their opinions. Some people are more picky than others, thats not a bad thing. I will take new pics if they ever settle in a bit more

edit: nice, I checked the door panels, they are nice, didnt even friggin notice til you mentioned it. By the way, I looked again and they didnt look so bad after Ive been sitting on em. The pics I took were the second I got home from dealer. BUt I appreciate all the comments, good and bad
