Rexpeed Type-C to replace EvoVII spoiler?

I am currently in the process of ordering my Rexpeed Type-C spoiler for my 02 Lancer (and will post pics immediately once I get it on), but I have an EVO VII spoiler now and was wondering if anyone could give any input on whether they think the Type-C will cover the mounting holes from my EVOVII.

Got an open box special, someone put it on their car, took it off, and shipped it back to Rexspeed. Don't want to post price, but I got a good deal on it plus a Vortex Generator. Your car was the only one I could find with the Type-C spoiler on it other than on the Rexspeed site, looks great!

LOL, I didn't even realize! Too bad we both have base Lancers and not Evo's, but I can't wait to get this spoiler. I'll post pics up when I get the spoiler ASAP.

if i'm not mistaken...they designed that wing to cover the mounting holes from the stock evo wing, so you should be good

I just got my Type-C spoiler today, only took 3 days to get to me! The spoiler looks awsome, but pictures will have to wait because I am laid up in bed after a surgery so I will post ASAP, but the customer service, fast shipping, and quality from Rexpeed are all top notch. As soon as I can I will install the spoiler and order myself a Vortex Generator from Rexpeed.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but if you are talking about a regular Lancer, only the 02-03 Lancers have the same trunks as the Evo VII, VIII, & IX. So in your case I am almost positive it will not fit.

nice wing

i f ing hate that my OZ has the stupid middle pillar. there's sooooo many great wings that i want, but it'll force me to have some bodywork done.

Well I am not sure how far in the middle pillar of the OZ wing is on the trunk, but I have the complete dimensions of the Type-C wing that Rexpeed sent me so that I could determine if it would cover the third screw of my EVO VII wing. If you want to take a measurment and PM me I will let you know if it will cover it. The Type-C wing covers a little more than an inch on the backend of the trunk, look at Rexspeed.net.

I am capable of walking around a little now after surgery so I popped my trunk after measuring my spoiler and was wondering if the mounting holes for the wing that comes on the OZ Lancer are the same as the EVO VIII wing (which are identical to the mounts on the Rexpeed wing). Thanks to anyone that can answer this question and once I am capable of using power tools I will mount the wing and post pics.
