Gram Lights ain't cheap. If I had that much extra money, I'd put it towards the car payments.

Decals, possibly. That would be kinda cool.

Yeah, so many people sell wheels for $2.50 each.

1. different sized tires perform better in different types of weather.

2. DJ does auto X and things like that, and he doesn't want to bang up his nice cruising wheels while doing so.

3. these wheels are lighter than the stock ones, making the wheels turn faster.

4. some of us pay our own car payments, so we can't spend our money on cigarettes and gram lights from rent-a-tire.

If he autox's with these rims, then i'm terribly sorry for my sarcasm, but if he uses them for a daily driver, like he suggested doing during summer/winter, then I think they'd look pretty horrible. And if you're insinuating that i didn't pay for my car, then you're mistaken. I'm very careful with my money, I waited for a great deal before i bought rims, but I still wouldn't buy junkyard rims, but thats just me and just my opinion. I don't mean to be offensive

Pretty good answer, overall.

Honestly, it doesn't matter if you think they'd look horrible. It matters what I think they look like. And I think they look fine. They might look pretty decent with a coat of paint.

In the end, it's about options. The 16s are lighter and cheaper to deal with. Obviously they aren't as sporty as the 18s, but I'm OK with that.

To answer the questions that keep coming, I have mostly decided what to do with them. It will probably end up as a Summer/Winter thing (snowtires on the 16s and Summers on the 18s). That way I'd kinda have the best of both worlds.

wow sorry, that post sounds really offensive. I was very intoxicated when I wrote that. I need to stay off forums while drunk, just about as bad as drunk dials

I am impressed though with my spelling
