So what's the deal with Bugs of all kinds liking my Lancer!?! Anyone else have this problem? Seems that as long as the sun is out (which is rare seems like in Ohio) bugs just crawl and crawl all over my car... It must look like a flower to them or something... Anyone know where I can get some OFF for my car...? lol

 

i live in Dallas texas and when ever i park out side i get bug all over my car....its kinda funny

 

Yeah, they must think the've hit the mother load. I went to some 4th of July Fireworks and I had huge moths and every bug you can think of crawling on it. I parked under some lights... Remind me not to do that again...lol. Bugs yummy!

 

yeap same here. everytime i wash my car- i've got bugs flying near it, on it, dying, crawling, etc. i guess it just the color.. but one night i went out and i saw a freaking swarm of gnats just chilling on my roof. it was kinda crazy

 

same thing happens to white cars in florida. love bugs are attracted to them like crazy. your grill will look like a bugs nightmare.

 

Use Meguire's Final Inspection to get rid of bugs in between washings...great stuff.

I think its also something to do with the scent of some cleaners. Like cherry scented tire shine. I get the most bugs around my car when im waxing, especially when i use Zymol, because it smells like coconut.

 

One of my cars was yellow and it attracted all kinds of bugs as well. As you know flies and mosqitoes are attracted to light, and with the EVO being yellow, they think they are close to a source for light, i.e sun =P

 

I use Eagle 1 Wax as you Dry, it smells kinda cherry and ya, I get bugs all over the damn thing while I'm drying it off. Then after I'm done it looks like the local stopping spot for all the bugs in the neighborhood. By the way, mine is Lightening Yellow too.

 

NY, not only dothey love the car but its so hard to get the dead ones off the front when washing it and lightning yellow here too

 

HAHAHAHHA!!! I thought i was the only one! I'm always getting pissed cause as soon as i get done washing and waxing i have all kinds of critters crawling all over my hood and the roof of my car....

same thing going on here in PA.....the F***ing things seem to love my car...there never flying around my wifes dumb Civic (it's silver)...
but hay....maybe the bugs got something right.....there choosing to hang around the best looking lancers...the yellow ones!!

 

it happens every time i wash my car, like when im drying it they just crawl and die all over it. :|
