I just looked these up. They are made for fog lights.

Should be fine. Testing has shown that the human eye responds best to yellow light (that's why a lot of folks run yellow foglights).

Again, I'm wondering about the legality of yellow headlights. Local laws don't always take into account what's best...

yeah, i really like the european look, very uncommon on the streets here

they are noticeably more visible/brighter than stock

and i've had no trouble with the police, but i also have 22% tint and a loud exhaust so maybe i'm just lucky
legality varies in different states, but i'm sure you can find a cop or two in every city that doesn't like them

Do you have past experience with Nokya? I had always heard that they were crappy. What's your opinion on long-term usage?

I think i can chim in here, Yes alot of reports were that they were crappy, but part of the problem was is that they were fakes. There is a mall here in Toronto and people here should know which one i am talking about... but they sell Fake Nokyas. I verified by comparing legit ones with fakes.

ENSURE your bulbs are from a certified dealer by NOKYA. if your not sure call NOKYA, cause if so your bulbs wont last 3 months. standard life is about a year and half for real bulbs before they blow. which is about the time you should replace them because of color fade in the yellow bulbs.

I run them in my other cars and perfer them.

They beat HIDs hands down when it comes to distance to reflective surfaces. The only bad thing is that they do not reflect well against black objects. your looking at a 30% visibility hit against black objects. but a 50% gain against reflective surfaces and road lines.

Cheers

Does that review apply to all Nokyas, the yellow ones dewood* has, or the purple ones you run? I'm confused!

i tried the purple ones but they dont work very well to reflect off things.....so i gave a blues ones a try....i like the blue ones much better because it looks lke if i had H.I.D.'s there really bright and reflect off every color....and for the yellow lights ..i dont think you will get into much trouble because i have 2k fog lights(yellower than those...but you cant tell in the pic) Here is my set up.....

Its basically physics.

the 2500k spectrum allows for light to travel in a narrow band as opposed to wide band 5000k and up.

Anyways getting back to the difference, I dislike purple 8500k because the light actually may seem bright upclose but when you move far away as in a mile or so then the intensity of the bulb is greatly reduced.

Not the case up against the YELLOWs, you can see a car running those frigging miles away.

Anyways comparing them to HID. Upclose you will see there is no doubt the HID 5000k is brigher. wider or not. But if you go a far distance as i did with my friends up a dark country road. the regular halogen yellows were damn good and were seen first, vs. a 9000k HID kit But that was a very far distance.

Another thing that is a bonus to the 2500k yellows is that you can see in bad weather the road lines and signs on the side of the road. 4X better then you can with the purple 8500 Nokyas. vs. an HID. Yellow will always reflect off signs better.

What i really want from Xmas is a 2500k HID kit!!! that would friggin rock
