Just noticed the rim damage too! Quote that from the dealership...it'll be enough for a set of four aftermarket ones! LOL

My question is should i just get a body kit and paint it my self or have it done proffesionally and do it stock

if you dont know how to paint dont do it ...silver is a hard color to blend if you never painted befor you have to lay out the flake just right and if you do go aftermarket bumper (witch i dont think will be mutch more then stock bumper) stay away from fiberglass its just going to look wavey as hell, and for a body shop thats a cake job, i realy dont think the frame has to be pulled from what i see. what insurance do you have? i talk to insurance adjusters all day long most of them are cool guys for the most part and if you tell them or the bodyshop guy your thinking of geting some aftermarket parts they may just cut you the check.im not sure but the shops iv worked at buy the parts not the insurance adjuster . first off find the best body shop close to you then go from there. PM me if you need anything

Hope it all works out for you man! That sucks! I keep hoping that someone will rear end me turning into my driveway one day! As long as my kids are not in the car, then I would be in jail for beating someone down. Good luck to you though!

I was angry at first when i got hit but saw she had a daughter in the back i just let it go.

I`ve decided to see if the aftermarket route is better if i go that way im def getting the Ken style kit the k-1 i love that kit. I just don`t know how to do it like do i ask the body shop if they can order those parts or do i tell her insurance that i want to go for that route ? or not say anything and have em cut me a check and order it. AAGGGhh so confusing.

I bought the ken style kit as well after my accident. I bought the bumper before I even had a check. insurance company doesnt really have to know how you use the money.

I got some estimates from a few shops for the damages. that is what they used to write me my check. I took it from there.

yeah brotha you make sure to stand your ground with that insurance company, dont be letting them push you around bro, do it right the first time man, sounds your pushing for that aftermarket route, so get some numbers and run them by the insurance company, guarenteed your numbers will be cheaper than OEM parts from the dealer. Know what I mean?
