2008 Shift Knob
Ok tuners, I hooked up with a company that helped me with my previous project and got them involved in the Lancer market. The company is RTM Racing and they make some of if not the best shift knobs. Period. I will never buy a shift knob from anyone else.
Anyways, they offer several different options. Just go to the website and call Ziggy (yes thats his real name) or email him. This is a solid stainless steel direct screw on shift knob. And when I say solid, I mean solid. It weighted in at 1.5 lbs (heavier than stock). So it has a good weighted feel and throw. It also sits lower than the stock shifter.
If you noticed they have etched/embrosed it with the Mitsu logo. Or he can custom something for you.
The best thing, is that its ONLY $48 + $10 s/h. So for $58 its to your door. Cheaper than the other one out there currently and looks way better. And he does take Paypal.
So contact Ziggy at RTM Racing.

Have you seen the CVT knob? There's some kind of special device inside to make it "snap" onto the shift rod. Unless he bought a CVT knob and hacked it open, I'd say we're screwed . . . unless this is a car-industry standard and I've just never seen it before . . .
