Interior Dash Colors: Painted or Purchased?
Ok which do you think is better? A Paited dash kit or one already made with the color you want? I haven't been able to find anyone that sold dash kits for our Lancers until now. I might be letting everyone know about something that everyone already knows about but I thought I'd throw this out and see what kind of response I would get back... So what do you think? The website is below... Anyone know anything about this company?

painted or fabricated... it all depends on the quality of workmanship for either one.
If you spend time on the details and can do your own paint/airbrush job, and you like working on your own projects then I'd say go ahead and paint.
Now if you aren't as detail oriented or may not have paint supplies or don't want the possiblity of someone effing up your parts with paint, base coat, adhesive, clearcoat, etc.. you may want to get a kit from a company.
I havn't looked at the link you posted yet, but I'd say try to look for actual replacement parts, and not pieces you tape on with double sided tape or some type of adhesive. I definitely know others would be interested in buying your stock parts if you happen to replace them.

so the whole kit is all actual plastic pieces that are replacement or are some parts replacement and some adhesive? they have some nice colored cf parts that would be nice if they were all replacement and the flat colors they have are nice as well. anyone get prices?
I say get some of the new plastic weld krylon paint that made for plastic then just clean with windex paint on 5 coats in 15 minute intervals the 5 or 6 coats of clear coat in 15 minute intervals it looks great im doing mine pice by pice now

Im painting my interior peices right now with Duplicolor paint. The thing is that I ran out of paint 1/2 way through the job... dammit! I gotta drive my car with no AC in this hot weather ALL the way to Wal Mart to get the same type of paint.
