She's a little dirty, but i painted my grill and got some ballin wal-mart hubcaps and painted them black as well. i dont think any of my previous pics showed my evo 7 depo tails.

 

Shoulda just repainted your steelies black. The black hubcaps are tacky imo.

 

look better than stock hubcaps... plus mine are all f-ed up and i like the design better. plus its only temporary and i think hubcaps in general look crappy but i dont think that black hubcaps are any worse...

 

Hubcaps are a waste of money IMO, basically paying money for something that is less ugly but still ugly. Why do you have a ralliart badge when you A. don't drive a ralliart and B. have no ralliart parts on the car? That's like me slapping on an STi badge for no obvious reason.

 

i dunno i think it looks cool... wat about the bunch of other people with the grill from japanparts.com that says ralliart on it....alot of them dont have any ralliart parts on their cars. and also when for 10$ i can get better looking hubcaps and paint them black with my extra spray paint i dont think its a waste. i have rims i just take them off in the winter and i would still like my car to look decent. also like i said before my stock hubcaps are damaged so i needed hubcaps anyway.... also i wanted to see how i liked black wheels on my car and didnt feel like paying a grand for rims to find i dont like the black on white look. there were a bunch of reasons why i did what i did. i think out all my mods.
also amby i always see you telling people to search the forum but you shoulda searched about me because ive had a thread explaining what i wanted to do to my car maybe you shoulda read up on me instead of bash me without even asking why i did what i did


by the way i have a question for you...A why do you have the evo steering wheel, seats and guages when you clearly dont drive an evo? bc you like the way it looks B why are you a hypocrit?

 

Actually the grill from japanparts.com is made by ralliart therefore it is a legitimate piece. I had a ralliart grill on my lancer and I certainly didn't just go out and buy a decal.
Why would I search for a thread about you? I do have a life you know.
If you actually look at my profile (ie. look up) you'll see I don't drive a lancer anymore. I had evo seats because they were very comfortable (and they were actually Recaros), an evo wheel because it was better than my stock one (and it was actually Momo) and evo gauges cause they looked cool. Never did I say my car was an evo, like an evo or even sorta kinda maybe like an evo. Nice try though, I do commend you on the attempt. Putting ralliart badges on a lancer with no ralliart parts is like putting a type R badge on a civic LX.

 

Okay, okay...calm down ya'll! Ralli-art just isn't a model of Mitsu, but Mitsu's line of performance products for their own vehicles. Now that's settled...

Yes but he doesn't have any ralliart parts. If got some parts (I'd even settle for a shift knob), I can see it. Technically I have STi parts on my car because of my exhaust (and it does indeed say STi on it in bright pink lol).

To the OP nice car clean but loose the hubbies if i were you and the ralli art badge but to each its own btw what the heck is with your bumper/.

 

Without the badge I think it would look pretty good. Hubcaps look pretty bad but if they're your winter rims I can see why.

Not really feeling the black grill on a white car... but it does match with the door handles and mirrors. Looks kinda like a Police Interceptor Crown Vic.

I do think I'm going to have to agree with the original poster on this though... Amby, just because the Evo guages look cool doesn't make it any different than the Ralliart emblem. Your car didn't redline as high as an evo, nor go 160+ like the cluster reads, nor did it have the 3 settings for tarmac, gravel, and snow. So really, it's no different than a ralliart badge on a grill.

Back on topic though... Any plans to paint the grill, handles and mirrors white? Perhaps when you get the bumper fixed?

 

Except my gauges didn't say evo, they actually said lancer and they didn't have ACD so they looked basically like the OZ gauges but a different color, in fact most people figured they were stock. I'm sorry but putting a badge for parts that you do not have is way different than swapping parts from one car to another. I never had a single part on my old lancer that said evo.
