what exactly are the illegal percentages in california? anyone know? I'd like to get mine done too, but I always got hassled by police.

 

here they are:

Anything in the back and rear windows. and only "Legal" tint up front. My wife has legal tint and it is about 95% (it lets in 95% of light) not even worth doing. I have medium which is 60% and i never get hassled.

Legally in CA tinting your front windows cannot be done unless it is a certified legal tint.

I beleive mirror tint is completely illegal

 

I see, so really 95 percent is the only legal tint for the front? damn..hehe I'll probably end up taking my chances.

How about those cars with stock side rear view blue mirrors??
Benzo, BMW, etc..
'cuz that's kinda the way I want for my rearview mirrors..

 

i think factory tint doesnt fall under laws for some stupid reason. I could be wrong but i thought it had to be non-reflective
