Got my windows tinted, love the look!!! Got L.A. Tint in NoVa to do it. Full lifetime warranty and all!!

nice. i am looking to get my windows tinted also. i have a silver evo, just wonderin the % also.

just for comparison, my 2001 eclipse GT had tint all the way around, 20% in the back 3 windows and (i think) 80% in the front (really Friggin light). After the fourth ticket for the tint in the front 2, off it came. and then i see a white bmw (for example) drive by with tinted front windows.... just kinda irritating.

just curious too see also, how many people around here gets picked on for the front tint?

 

I got docs from a eye doctor for all around tint for my car. Just trying to find the right shop. Shadyness is all over

 

I thought about going with 35% all the way around but we have yearly inspections and don't need any hassle by the cops so I went safe with it.

 

I'm planning on getting tint soon also, but was wondering whay you guys are paying for getting it done?

 

Do you mean paying for it as opposed to DYI? Because if thats the case, tinting is not very easy to do unless you have experience. Not to mention that the tint that is available to the public to buy is different quality than the stuff that shops use.

 

On my thunder grey lancer, I got 5% all around... totally illegal, but I've never been pulled over for it! Looks really good... also, I paid $187.50 for it and it came with a lifetime waranty!

Where is LA tints and how much did they charge you? Also, I thought the legal limit was 35% all around? Unless you're just taking a chance? hehe

 

L.A. Tint that I went to is on Route1, about 2 miles north of Fort Belvoir. Check their website at www.latint.com for other locations. It runs around $280 with taxes. Complete 100% warranty. They said that 50% front doors and 35% rear doors and rear window is VA limit. The higher the number, the more light gets through. Thought about doing the 35% all around but don't need the hassle if I get stopped.

i got limo in the rear and light in the front, i paid 140 for lifetime tint.

As for your (nasdale) tint, it looks really nice.

 

Oh, and today I got scheduled to get a re-tint, because my duncical dog put scratches on the two back windows
