Change Paint

Hey I wanted to know if anyone could give me an estimate of the cost to change the paint on an Evo 8-9 spoiler.

$50 if you know how to do it yourself. Some members on here have successfully done it with spray paint. But if you want to know how much shops will charge, it could range from $200-500 as a rough estimate. BTW, nice avatar...Oh yeaaaah!

please dont rattle can it. sheesh. I would guess 150-250 for the wing. Maybe for a real pricey shop 300 but i wouldnt pay more then that. The wing is a very easy thing to paint.

lol sorry for the bad advice, I mean you can but, I know I wouldn't do it either...it must be the inner ricer in me haha. Personally I wouldn't bother with a wing on teh Lancer, it looks clean without it. Wingless ftw

If you're good with paint-prep work, I'd say you can do your own spray job using a paintscratch.com factory-matching paint kit for about $50/60! Got one myself to do the Kaminari spoiler.

i painted my evo wing with high temp engine paintt..... its almost the same shade as the car and looks real nice... people dont even know i painted it... it lasted thru some cold *** winter and ice.... you just have to prepare it right or the paint wont stick good... and dont use cheap spray paint....
