Winter Setups... Spring plans.

I saw this thread in other areas so I figured I would start one. I live in wisconsin and winter here sucks. Here is my winter set up....

(Stock)

Plans for Spring are to put my 17 inch gunmetal Enkeis back on, progress lowering springs, 35% tint, and maybe black out my headlights, if I decide to try it. I've read the how-to, doesn't seem too bad, but I'm scared I wont get them sealed and eff them up for good. Who's done it?

I do not understand this concept. Sure, it looks good, but it's very unsafe at night. You mention you keep getting harassed by cops about it.....so why leave it on?

I'm at 35%. Legal, looks great, and you can see fine and safely at night. And did I say legal?

As far as winter/summer set ups....I do not have any. I'm too poor to have 2 sets of tires/rims for the seasons. However, I do have a few projects once it gets warmer out. Ralliart SoC decal, painting some spare sets of a,b,c pillars black....I think that's it though.

35% is legal here in wisconsin. it's supposed to be 50% in the front windows but that's just stupid. If I get harassed I'll just take off the front, and wont have to take off the whole thing. And I'm too poor too.... I just put the stock stuff on for winter. I'd like to get some alloys with some snow tires and some huge mudflaps since there is snow like 4 months a year. Anyone got any for sale? I just want something different on my car. And it's not going to be spring for a couple of months.

because it looks good, what other reason you need, and its not unsafe at all, we all know how to drive, we're not going to let something like tints really mess us up are we and actually i do have 35 in the front sorry but still...actually in nyc, 75 or some high number like that is legal, whos going to put anything above 50 anyways

Winter setup: pretty damn stock

16" cheapo wheels (junkyard special)
205/60/16 Winterforce snowtires
Not much else

--------

Spring setup: also pretty damn stock

Gotta decide if I'm going to get a 2nd set of wheels or just a set of Summer or All-Season tires. We barely got any snow this year, so I really feel like the snowtires were a waste.

Definitely getting camber bolts, since the stock suspension is non-adjustable and that's just bulls*** if you ask me. I'd like my car to drive in a straight line, especially after I pay for a f***ing alignment...

Otherwise, not much going on. SS brake hoses and a fluid change are looking good.
