I didnt know $75 was expensive for an install. What is a reasonable price to pay for holes drilled and everything. My highest quotes were 150 but I got it done for about 70.

Alright, just got my wing today and got it assembled. I will probably put it on tomorrow if the weather is nice. Anyone have an idea of what would be a good plug for the hole left by the center support? I plan on fixing it once the weather is nicer but it's too cold to be doing painting etc. right now.

napa or advanced sells these plug that I put in the center hole with silicone. worked great. You can also get electrical tape near the color of your car and slap it on. I did that for a few weeks. I ended up getting a CF trunk so I didnt have to get the stock one filled and painted. lol

Alright...had a little problem...the bolts that were on my stock spoiler...don't line work with the holes in the new wing. What I mean by this is that the stock bolts are about 2-3mm too thin and thus don't catch in the thread. So I am gonna go by some bolts tomorrow because the hardware stores are all closed at 700 on a Sunday. Did anyone else who put an VIII wing on there ES/OZ have this problem?

wing fitment problem

um, is your wing a replica? that might be why it's not a perfect fit. if it's an oem, it should fit like ***** and a vagina

Well, I bought it from a guy with an '03 Evo so I don't see any reason why it would be a replica unless he it was wrecked and it was a replacement...hmmm oh well...I am gonna go get bolts that fit and install tomorrow

anyway, yeah im surprised the bolts didnt work, i would think they would if it truly is oem.
